Wire wrapping has become a foundational part of my artistic practice, and has been with me for almost 10 years. It all began with a (not so) healthy desire to collect crystals, and a need to fund my hobby. Through wire wrapping I feel a flow that brings out the natural beauty of not only stones, but other objects such as bone, guitar tuners, and basically anything that could be turned into a wearable sculpture. I strive with every piece to embody a one of a kind creation that hold whatever power its bearer wishes, through meticulous cold-connection techniques to weave precious metals into fluid, organic forms. It is a celebration of the traditional and contemporary with a story that is just waiting to be told.
